How does it work
Laser hair removal is a procedure that uses a beam of light to remove unwanted hair, during your laser treatment the laser emits the light that is absorbed by the hairs pigment. The light energy is converted into heat which in turn destroys the Hair follicle and this damage then permanently reduces any further growth.
How long does it take?
The diode crystal freeze medical grade machine uses a quick pulse technology allowing us to move quickly over the area being treated whilst delivering optimum laser pulse light , allowing us to do full leg treatment in 20 minutes and a full body in 1hr.
How many sessions will I need ?
For long-lasting optimum results we recommend starting with a 6 session course where each session will be spaced out according to your personal growth cycle between 6-8 weeks. It can take further treatments depending on the individuals hair growth and hormonal factors.
When will I start to see a difference to the area being treated ?
Everyone responds differently, but the majority of clients notice a difference from session one, remarking that hair growth is weakened, slowed and in growing hairs are reduced - the results will improve with each session.
Is it painful ?
Having spent months researching and trailing laser hair removal the diode crystal freeze machine has the perfect balance of power and comfort, some people describe a slight prickly sensation but most are surprised by how quick and painless it is.
Are the results permanent?
The area treated will never be the same again after laser hair removal. It is possible get new hair growth for dormant follicles that can be stimulated by external factors such as hormonal changes or medication. If this is the case we recommend a top-up session every 6/12 months.

How do I get started ?
Please get in touch or book online for a consultation and patch test, at your consultation we will look at the desired areas to be treated , discussed your treatment plan and complete your patch test - we will also discuss your pre and post treatment care.
Do I need a patch test?
Even clients who have had a treatment with another clinic need a recent patch test , without a patch test we will be unable to treat you. This is for insurance purposes and for your well-being.
Pre and post treatment advice
Before your treatment
- You must stop plucking, waxing, tweezing, threading, using depilatory cream and any other form of hair removal other than shaving for 1 month prior to your treatment.
- Please arrive for your appointment with clean skin, not wearing moisturiser, lotions, creams or SPF.
- All areas to be treated must be cleanly shaven within 24 hours before treatment.
- Please wear comfortable loose clothing so your skin is not irritated after treatment.
- You should not fake tan or expose the area to the sun for 14 days prior to treatment.
After your treatment
- A post treatment red lumpy 'rash' is to be expected after treatment it’s generated by the heat within the hair follicle is totally normal and generally goes down quickly.
- Avoid excessive heat including steam rooms, saunas ,exercise, hot baths and showers for 48 hours.
- Apply aloe vera gel as often as required to sooth any irritation.
- Keep the area clean, do not apply any products such as make up, deodorant, perfume, tan or lotions for 48 hours.
- Apply SPF to treated areas that are being exposed to the sun post treatment.
- After 48 hours exfoliate the area gently twice a week, this helps encourage the hair to shed naturally and keep in growing hairs out.
